Broome Public Library is once again bringing the world of literature, ideas and storytelling to the Kimberley with the return of the Sydney Writers’ Festival Live & Local program from Thursday, 21 May to Sunday, 24 May 2026. Across four days, audiences can enjoy free livestreamed sessions featuring some of Australia and the world’s leading writers, journalists, thinkers and storytellers — all from the comfort of the Library.This year’s program includes appearances from acclaimed authors and personalities including A.C.
